Nurse Betty

Nurse Betty's Bio

Nurse Betty has always approached nursing from a holistic standpoint. She has practiced Healing Touch, a practice of using one’s hands to help restore harmony and balance throughout the body, for over 17 years and studied under some of the best-known research-focused Energy Healers in the United States. As a bedside nurse, Betty saw the benefits patients experienced when using CBD and cannabis to reduce pain, anxiety, and insomnia, among other things. As a result, she shifted her focus to working with the endocannabinoid system and the therapeutic uses of CBD and cannabis. Her deep understanding has helped her to support cancer patients and those who wanted to get off opioids using cannabis. In 2013 she was diagnosed with cancer and dove deeper into the cannabis research to guide her own personal healing journey.

Prior to becoming a nurse, she completed a formal one-year educational program in western herbs. That education provided a strong foundation to understanding the benefits of CBD and cannabis.

Nurse Betty is a member of the Oregon Cannabis Clinician’s Group which supports the education of healthcare workers. She is currently in a four-year therapy program for Core Energetics and as well as a Master of Nursing Education program.

Nurse Betty helps to empower people to understand their medications, the herbs they use and to embrace lifestyle choices which support optimal health. She is a curious human who continues to advance her considerable knowledge about how CBD and Cannabis support our healing process on many levels–physical, emotional and spiritual.
