Breathe in. Breathe out.
November 2, 2020
Everybody we know is on edge.
A new survey from the American Psychological Association shows that 68% of Americans are suffering from election stress, compared to 52% in 2016. It doesn’t matter which party you belong to. Everyone is affected. Democrats, suffering from PTSD from the last election, are the highest at 76%. Republicans are at 67% and Independents at 64%.
We’ve got LOTS of reasons to be stressed—the on-going Covid crisis, economic devastation, racial unrest and a super-sized serving of Election Stress.

No wonder anxiety, sleeplessness and the inability to concentrate are wreaking havoc on everyone’s lives. Everyone has a list on how to cope with our national stress–from the Cleveland Clinic to USA Today. There are a lot of good suggestions, mostly focused on stepping away from the election stress and other crises.

- Create a soothing play list
- Don’t binge on news [who can turn away??]
- Read a book to get your mind off it
- Vote
- Practice Deep Breathing
- Get Comfortable with Discomfort [Our least favorite option]
Recently a friend asked, “ Do you think I could add tequila to my protein shake?” That’s certainly one way to approach it…
The simplest suggestion, deep breathing, is an easy one for everyone. It can immediately change your state of mind and your physical response to stress. Many studies of yogic breath show improved blood-pressure, heart rate and reduction of the stress hormone, cortisol.
Breathe In. Breathe Out.
Anxiety not only unsettles your emotional state, it also disturbs your concentration and makes it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. That’s why we recommend a systemic approach with 3 different tinctures: Anxiety Relief, Deep Sleep and Focus.
“Soothes my anxiety within 15 minutes with no side effects. It’s a magic potion!” Anja F.
“I’ve tried other natural remedies before for stress or anxiety and this one really works!
It takes the edge off without any other effects.” Sue M.

Deep Sleep has been showing really great results for people who have had long-term sleep issues and many have been able to reduce or eliminate their sleep medication.
“My Fitbit records my sleep and my “REM”
and “Deep Sleep” have doubled!” Steele A.
We’ve found when people used Deep Sleep but aren’t getting the results they should, that it’s an anxiety problem on top of a sleep problem. Nurse Betty recommends taking Anxiety Relief a half an hour before bed and then Deep Sleep at bedtime. This usually does the trick.
Given the widespread problems everyone seems to be having with sleep at the moment, this inspired us to develop a maximum strength Sleep product. It’s currently in development but will be ready soon for all of you who need some extra help.
Starting a new business demands lots of hours and the need to focus on what really matters. We couldn’t survive without Focus.
“Life Changing! I had a full days’ worth of intentional energy, a much better “attitude” and most importantly…I could think REALLY clearly. It’s like someone put on the windshield wipers in my brain.” Ingrid E.
And remember, we have a Nurse to help with any questions about CBD. Book a free consultation now.
We’ll get through this. Stay positive. Stay healthy. Vote.
Most of all, remember to relax.
